I have figured out why I always fail at relationships. Love is a challenge, and so am I. I think when guys first fall for me they do so because I am this mysterious girl who is holding a lot back. I am honest when I say that I do not get attached easily and don’t really believe in love. Then every guy thinks the same thing…I’m going to be the one that’s different.
I’m going to be the one that makes her fall in love. The one to make her settle down. It becomes a game of taming the untamable and because they all want me to change who I am…it never works out. At this point I have taken a break from dating because I don’t think I am at a very good place in my life for a relationship, but when I am…I hope I can find a guy that just understands the concept of patience and time. I will probably get there…hopefully…maybe…one day. But it isn’t going to be tomorrow, and telling me you love me after a week, and proposing to me won’t speed up that process. It is an understatement to say I am difficult to love, but maybe someone somewhere will be up for the challenge.
