Second Chances

“if you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it.”

So what I’ve learned in the past few months I think is one of the most valuable lessons I could ever hope to learn. I can call it whatever I want…bad luck, karma, a curse…in the end, it’s over. The past three months for me have been…an old lady hitting my car, my apartment almost burning down from a fire and being evacuated for 5 days, being thrown a total curve ball with starting school a year early and quitting my job, someone breaking into my car, my school stuff being stolen, a wine display being pushed onto me in the grocery store…sadly I could go on.

Every moment is another chance to turn your entire life around. All I can do is be thankful that I am still here, pursing a career I know I will love, with friends that would give the world for me. The bad things that happen only happen so I can appreciate when the good things come around. I know God will never give me anything I can’t handle…even though sometimes I wish he didn’t trust me that much!!! But never the less, I am going to try harder to take more opportunities to LIVE life, instead of watching it pass me by. With that said…I need to study for my third quiz this week. :)
